A strong midfielder, Daniele Conti has only played for two Serie league teams since his freshmen season in 1995: Roma from 1995-1999 and Cagliari. He scored 3 goals this past season (2006/2007) and continues to help his team to move up the standings in the Serie A. He is the son of the former Italian soccer star Bruno Conti.
