For several years now he has been regarded as one of the most reliable and talented centerfielders in Italy. After having played with Sora for three seasons in C2 and C1, he made the big leap to Udinese. In 1995 he played, for the first time, in the A series in the match Udinese-Cagliari 1-0. His career is marked by a crescendo of consensus, his ability to perform during matches and his generosity as a person have made him an indispensable part of Udinese’s center field. The eyes of all the best teams in Italy are on him. In 2001 he was lured by Lazio, and he has been playing with them for the past four seasons. In 1999 he played his first match with Italy National, in the match between Italy and Belarus (1-1), and has since played three other matches. Now is part of Livorno.
