Nicknamed "The Hatters" this English football team plays in the fourth tier at Edgeley Park. During the 1990's the team faired well while playing in the 2nd tier, however the team stumbled after the turn of the century and they are now ready to get back on their feet.
Between 2006 and 2007 the team registered a record 9 consecutive wins. Manager Jim Gannon looks to continue this success in the upcoming season. Playing next to Manchester United, Stockport looks to gain strong local support in the future.
