Sara Errani is a young professional tennis player in the beginning stages of her career. She started playing tennis at the tender age of 5 and turned pro in 2002, only 10 years after starting her sport. In 2005, she won her first singles title and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.

So far, 2007 has been her best year: on July 23rd, she was placed on the 91st position in the Top 100, then reached 2R once at the US Open and notched her 100th career singles match win in the Acapulco qualifying.

On January 7, 2008, she reached a new career high of No. 63 on the Tour rankings. She played very well at the Australian Open and was called up by Italy for the first time for the Fed Cup match. The future looks extremely bright for this young player.
